AC Milan's long-awaited stadium project may be taking a new turn as the club navigates through the maze of bureaucratic hurdles. Negotiations to acquire the ex-Falck area in Sesto San Giovanni, where the proposed stadium could be situated (plan B), are currently underway.
While alternative options, including the retention of San Siro, remain viable, the allure of Sesto is undeniable for the AC Milan club management.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan are exploring two approaches: purchase of the land with a view to constructing the stadium, for which the asking price is being reevaluated, or a possible 99-year lease of the land.
