In a few hours, the AC Milan team of head coach Stefano Pioli will take the field against Atalanta.
The Rossoneri boss, is looking for goals from Rafael Leao and Theo Hernandez, as per La Gazzetta dello Sport website. Theo hasn't found the back of the net since November 5th, while Leao's drought dates back to January 14th.
Pioli needs the left-sided duo to step up and turn things around. At this point last season, the Frenchman had already scored four goals. Now he's stuck on two. Against Atalanta, he could break his slump and remind us of what he's capable of, like last year's famous coast-to-coast goal.
Last season, Hernandez netted five times and provided 10 assists, but from January to May, he scored just once - and it was against Atalanta.
Rafael Leao's last burst of form came over a month ago against Lecce. Since then, he's gone seven games without a goal in the league and cups. Pioli is hoping he too can break his dry spell against Atalanta. After all, the left flank was one of the trademarks of AC Milan's Scudetto-winning campaign.
