In an interview with Calciomercatoweb.com, renowned sports agent Alessandro Moggi recalled some past negotiations, with some interesting backstories, and among these was an offer from AC Milan for Ciro Immobile back in 2017.
"In the year of Yonghong Li, Milan offered 55 million euros, but Lotito didn't let him go. Shortly after, there was an offer of 50 million from Dalian, in China, which offered the player 12.5 million for five years. But even in that case, Lazio rejected the offer".
He added:
"And Ciro willingly stayed at Lazio in both cases. He never forced to leave because he is attached to the club and feels as an integral part of the project. It is a demonstration that these players have values, and they don't always think of money as is often said", as relayed by PianetaMilan.it.
