After his unsuccessful spell in Paris Saint-Germain, former Inter striker Mauro Icardi seems to have revived himself at the Turkish outfit Galatasaray where he is currently on loan from the French giants.
The former Inter striker is posting impressive numbers, although it must be said that this needs to be put in context with the level of the Turkish league, which is currently still below that of the top European leagues.
However, th 30-year-old's numbers (9 goals and 6 assists in 12 games) this season are a good haul for a striker who seemed to have lost his way in his career in the past.
Now, according to calciomercato.com and relayed via Pianeta Milan, the Argentine intends to return to Italy, possibly with Milan, where he could be the number 9 of the future. At the moment, there appears to have been no contact between the parties involved.
