As reported by La Gazzetta Dello Sport in its latest edition, Stefano Pioli is planning two different Milan sides for their upcoming fixtures in Florence and London.
For the match against Fiorentina in Serie A, experienced Danish defender Simon Kjaer is set to start in defence with Pierre Kalulu and either Fikayo Tomori or Malick Thiaw.
In midfield area, Alexis Saelemaekers, Sandro Tonali, Tommaso Pobega, and Theo Hernandez are expected to form the core, with Aster Vranckx or Tiémoué Bakayoko as potential alternatives. Charles De Ketelaere, Ante Rebic, and Olivier Giroud are set to lead the attack.
Meanwhile, for the all-important Champions League clash with Tottenham in London, head coach Stefano Pioli will field his strongest XI, featuring Malick Thiaw in the center of defence, Junior Messias on the right flank, Ismael Bennacer or Krunic in midfield, and Brahim Diaz supporting Rafael and Olivier Giroud in attack.
