AC Milan suffered a frustrating night against Vincenzo Italiano's Fiorentina. The Rossoneri lost 2-1 away from home in what was a really difficult game, just a few days ahead of facing Tottenham in the Champions League competition in London.
La Gazzetta dello Sport shared the players ratings after the game, as usual. The best player for AC Milan on the pitch, as per the source, was Mike Maignan with a rating of 7.
Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori and Junior Messias, Divock Origi and Sandro Tonali each received a 5 rating. On the other hand, Ismael Bennacer's rating was slightly higher with only 5.5
Charles De Ketelaere's rating was the same as the Algerian midfielder for his effort, he showed a couple of good plays, but no real threat.
Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic both were shown a 5.5 as well as Tiémoué Bakayoko.
AC Milan's only goalscorer in the last few minutes of the game, Theo Hernandez, earned himself a rating of 6. Ante Rebic, though, was granted a 4.5, same as German defender Malick Thiaw. The former Schalke centre-back, however, was chosen as the worst player on the pitch, as per the newspaper.
