AC Milan's Swedish centre-forward, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was called up to the national team by head coach Janne Andersson, has zero intentions to quit at the end of the current season.
His contract with the red and black faithful is set to expire at the end of this season. However, he can still see himself playing football as he intends to participate in the Euro competition in 2024.
Ibrahimovic's future, however, could be away from AC Milan, suggests a recent report from Calciomercato.com who claim that Serie A outfit AC Monza are considering an attempt to sign him on a free transfer this summer. Perhaps a romantic return to Adriano Galliani and Silvio Berlusconi is on the cards, but for now, they are only rumours.
About what the future may hold for him in his career, and perhaps after his playing days are over, Zlatan Ibrahimovic did say these words in a press conference earlier today:
"I have many offers. But I don’t want to think about it yet because for now, I only see myself as a player. Everyone asks me how I am, but you should ask the 20-year-old guys what they think, since I am still playing with them."
