Speaking on the Juventus Twitch channel, the midfielder Manuel Locatelli also spoke about his time spent at the AC Milan club. Here are his statements:
“When I left Milan, it was a big blow for me. I was very young and had already played some matches. Then I went to Sassuolo and there I met a fantastic family with De Zerbi as coach who exalted me above all as a human being. But sometimes when you take a step back, then you take a step forward as my dad says”.
Locatelli continued:
“I have always dreamed of Juventus, I have always told my agent that one day we had to go to Juve and in the end I went there. It's also a strong emotion for my family because these are the things that touch you. Whoever has my jersey, I will try to sign it. The goal against Juventus? I was just thinking about Milan, of course. It was a special match for what Juventus represented. The match ended 1-0 with my goal, the only one who wasn't happy was my grandmother, who told me that the game should have ended 1-1 for Pjanic's correct goal."
