From the Palermo Football Conference, agent Patrick Bastianelli talked about the not-so-positive moment with Tommaso Pobega's AC Milan, his client. Here are his statements, as relayed by the Italy-based website Milannews.it:
"We have to make a distinction: until January, Tommaso played and also with continuity, for being in his first year at Milan. He made 21 appearances and also scored in the Champions League, so very good. In the last month, he played little and now the expectation is to work to regain his place. Let me tell you a moment that happened a few years ago: Tommaso Pobega went to play at Ternana, then in Serie B at Pordenone and he was ready for Serie A. In July, I receive a phone call from ds Corvino and he tells me that he wants to take Pobega to Lecce, where there was great ambition. I had to say no because I had several Serie A teams interested. In the same transfer window, I represented for Italy Jens Petter Hauge of Bodo and Corvino calls me back: same story, in fact Hauge even scores against Milan and ends up playing in red and black".
Do you expect Pobega to play more?
"Tommaso has all the qualities to play for Milan, he's an extraordinary guy and when he gets the opportunity, he'll be ready."
