The arrival of Gerry Cardinale in Milan will be a crucial one. The head of the American fund RedBird Capital Partners has already been in Europe for other business, and as happened about twenty days ago, he will fly to Italy to continue his mission: to push for the new stadium for AC Milan, writes Milannews.it.
His presence, in fact, in Italy is significant because the work on the new facility is a central theme in the process of improving the club's financial revenues. During his trip to Milan, Gerry Cardinale does not have any meetings scheduled with Paolo Maldini, as his intention is not to interfere with the operations of the sports department, not even on the subject of renewing Rafael Leao's contract.
Gerry Cardinale's aim is to try to accelerate for the stadium project, and in fact, several meetings are planned throughout the city and even outside Milan to evaluate different options for the sports facility that will only be exclusive to the Rossoneri. The La Maura region is the first option, but it is not the only solution.
