AC Milan's star striker, Olivier Giroud, has a contract which expires at the end of the current season. The former Chelsea and Arsenal striker has netted 12 goals and 6 assists so far this season. He has been the only consistent and reliable forward for the red and black faithful this campaign, despite being 36 years old.
The club directors, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara want to keep him for another season and a contract renewal negotiations have already been ongoing.
Now, according to what is reported by the Italy-based website Calciomercato.com, AC Milan are hoping that the gray smoke could soon turn white. There is not yet a total agreement between the agents of Giroud and the Rossoneri club for the renewal. However, the French international wants to continue his adventure in Italy for another year.
