AC Milan's Italian right-back and club captain, Davide Calabria, spoke to the microphones of DAZN in a lengthy interview and had these words to say:
"Derby in the Champions League? We have been looking forward to this match for a long time, it will be a fascinating and beautiful challenge. I think we have earned it on the field and I can't wait to face this game."
He continued:
"Facing Lecce? We have reached a point in the season where we need to understand that all matches are really important for the team and for the development of this club, because there are so few games left that we cannot make any more mistakes. We need to refocus immediately on the league: we celebrated the victory because we deserved it and wanted it, but now we need to refocus on the next matches."
Calabria on the Champions League again, on the motivation of playing the semi-finals:
"I believe that wearing this shirt, you always have to have motivation, and the only way to be rewarded is through victories: so the motivation is to win every match."
On Qualifying after beating Napoli:
"The spirit of sacrifice, altruism, and unity on the field were really strong: knowing how to suffer together, even in moments of suffering during the game, we reacted together in a great way. If someone had difficulty, there was immediately someone else to lend a hand. I think everything was done really in detail in the matches: in the end, I believe that we deserved it more."

On the disruptions attempts between the first and second leg:
"We don't like to talk much about incidents or before the game, in general. It's not our style and we don't cling to these things. Honestly, I don't think trying to destabilize us serves any purpose and it's superfluous: at this level, it doesn't matter, but what matters is what we do on the field every day at Milanello and the sweat we put into this shirt every day."
What about the fireworks?
"Yes, I heard them honestly: I woke up, laughed, and went back to sleep (laughs). We only heard the fireworks."
Calabria, what did you say to your teammates after qualifying to the semi-finals?
"I felt a sense of pride for this team because we enjoyed the sacrifice. It's not always easy to face every second of a game, but we passed through the suffering of an important match with happiness. After the game, we were happy, we celebrated, sang and danced. But now the most important part of the season comes, we have goals to achieve."
On the challenge with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia:
"Were these the best games of my career? Yes, probably yes. I did very well, and I'm satisfied with what we did in the Champions League and the championship (vs Kvara) Certainly, the challenge motivated me", said Calabria, "I like playing against players like Kvara, we're talking about a guy who arrived a few months ago but is showing he's a future phenomenon and has already been the best in the league."
