AC Milan returned to winning ways after winning 2-0 against Lazio in a convincing matter yesterday at the San Siro. Goals were scored by Ismael Bennacer and Theo Hernandez in the first 29 minutes of the match.
As usual, La Gazzetta dello Sport shared their own ratings and assessment of the Rossoneri players performances. The best player on the pitch for Stefano Pioli's team was Theo Hernandez, who scored a mesmerising goal, similar to the one vs Atalanta last season, a coast to coast goal, even dare we say similar to what George Weah once did in the Rossoneri jersey (vs Verona). He was shown a deserved rating of 8 for his efforts.
Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori, Sandro Tonali, Rade Krunic, Ismael Bennacer and Alexis Saelemaekers received ratings of 7.
Olivier Giroud, Pierre Kalulu, and Malick Thiaw were shown the same ratings for their work (6.5). Junior Messias, Ante Rebic had ratings of 6. Same for Davide Calabria who was chosen as the least impressive player on the pitch for the AC Milan team.
Mike Maignan and Rafael Leao: N/A.
