Today, La Gazzetta dello Sport re-confirmed all the news from yesterday about Rafael Leao's close renewal with AC Milan. It is reportedly a done deal and will be announced shortly.
As per the report, the contract will be valid until June 2028 with a clause of 170 million euros. A salary of 7 million euros net per season plus bonuses. French side Lille, which paid the fine, will receive a percentage of a future resale. Rafael Leao will also receive 2 million euros as bonus upon signing.
AC Milan's CEO, Giorgio Furlani was decisive in the renewal. The CEO managed the relationship with Lille and the player's family. He also downplayed the rivalry between the player's agents.
