AC Milan's Portuguese left-winger, Rafael Leao, has granted an important and interesting interview to Gaffer. Here are his words, shared by La Gazzetta dello Sport:
"Future? I would say in the Premier League. I think every player in the world wants to play there, it's an engaging and competitive league. There are big clubs, a big crowd. Serie A it is well positioned, but I would definitely say the Premier League in the future."
On joining AC Milan:
"I felt immense pride and also a great sense of responsibility. I was also nervous because the AC Milan shirt weighs a lot. It's a club with a lot of history that has won several titles, seven Champions Leagues. So, when I had the opportunity to come here, I didn't think twice. I never thought I could wear this shirt. It's an honour to represent it," Leao continued, "Scudetto victory? It was something the team has been waiting for a long time. It was the result of a lot of effort and work, it was historic. It was a very special moment for me personally because it was the first Scudetto I won. I won it with Milan and it's a memory that I will cherish forever."
On his role models, Leao said:
"Cristiano and Ronaldinho. They are players that I have followed and tried to imitate since I was little. I learned to do the things I do today, dribbling... by watching their videos. They are both my great idols and I would like to have a career similar to theirs."
Leao on his personal ambitions:
"I would like to win the Champions League and the Ballon d'Or, while as an artist I'm not sure. I go with the flow, but I would like my label to be among the best."
