The second leg match in the Champions League semi-final between Inter and AC Milan is set to be played tonight. Gianluigi Buffon, present at the Milan Football Week event, has commented on the matter.
"Milan deserves another performance... Both Milan and Inter have exceptional goalkeepers. On one hand, we know Maignan from last year and we know how much he is worth, while Onana has been the revelation of the year both in terms of performance and consistency."
The return of Leao:
"I don't think Rafa's recovery can cancel out the technical gap. However, it can make a difference in terms of the mental approach, not just for his teammates. Knowing that you can rely on a player like him allows everyone to step onto the field with more confidence. Furthermore, it's not only about the awareness of being able to do damage, but this can also influence Inter."
Buffon on the second leg fixture:
"After what Milan has achieved in these past two years, I want to be thrilled in the return match. For 90 minutes, I won't be able to take my eyes off the TV, hoping that the Rossoneri can make a comeback. In the previous match, Inter was overwhelming, but I don't believe that what we saw reflects the real difference between the two teams. Pioli's team deserves another performance."
