The official verdict of the Court of Appeals of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has been announced regarding the capital gains case involving Juventus. The club has been given a 10-point deduction to be applied in the current sports season (the initial request was for 11 points). Allegri's team becomes aware of the penalty approximately half an hour before tonight's match against Empoli. The Old Lady lost 4-1.
At this moment, Juventus finds itself with 59 points, trailing behind AC Milan by 5 points who climbed to the fourth place.
The Bianconeri club has released a statement in which they explain that they will review the reasons behind the penalty to consider a possible appeal to the Board of Appeal.
