On Sunday, against Juventus, Ante Rebic did not participate in the trip to Turin by Stefano Pioli's technical choice. The Croatian forward, who has scored 29 goals in 123 matches wearing the Rossoneri shirt, has struggled a lot this season due to physical setbacks.
According to today's La Gazzetta dello Sport, as relayed via MilanPress, there are no physical issues or injuries involved in Rebic's exclusion from the squad list for the match against Juventus.
Rebic simply didn't impress Pioli during the week's training sessions: the intensity and attitude displayed at Milanello were far from satisfactory. The number 12 for the Rossoneri is now on the transfer list, along with those players who were vying for a possible spot in the team next year but failed to achieve their objective.
It is highly likely that this will be Ante Rebic's last season at AC Milan. The former Eintracht Frankfurt player has a contract with the Rossoneri that is valid until the summer of 2025. He has scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists after 31 appearances across all competitions this season.
