AC Milan club directors are now working on defining the right strategy for the coming transfer market window.
The directors want to add quality to improve Stefano Pioli's team and be competitive on both fronts next season in order to avoid dropping too many points in the league like how it happened this year.
According to what is reported by Sky Sport Italia, there was a meeting indeed between Gerry Cardinale, the owner of the AC Milan through RedBird, and Paolo Maldini who is the technical area director of the Rossoneri club.
According to Peppe Di Stefano, the meeting was not much about planning but more of an exchange of opinions ahead of the summer transfer window.

In Paolo Maldini we trust, so he wanted to have a bigger budget to spend over summer. That is a must if want to compete against the best teams in Europe. Maldini is one of the vest football brains in the business, he knows Football, he knows AC Milan. He bleeds red and black.
