AC Milan finished a season and already went through important changes in the executive planning: Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have left, but time must not be wasted as the club management should now focus on reinforcing the team.
For the right-winger position, AC Milan continue to consider Samuel Chukwueze of Villareal in La Liga. He is highly regarded by the Rossoneri, but the Spanish team is asking for 25 million euros, a sum that could be lowered by including a percentage on a future resale. At the moment, the Italians have not made any official offers, but the idea is to first reach an agreement with the player and then negotiate with Villarreal. His contract will expire in 2024.
Meanwhile, the Rossoneri are also keeping an eye on Carney Chukwuemeka, an English midfielder playing for Premier League outfit Chelsea. The young player is on the list of potential exits for the Blues. He could be leaving on loan with a buyout option.
For the central striker role, however, Marcus Thuram who has an expiring contract with Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach is of interest to AC Milan, but he is also being targeted by Paris Saint-Germain. The French player is demanding a salary of 6 million euros, a figure that the Milan management considers too high.
