AC Milan club management are getting closer to renewing a contract of one of the players in head coach Stefano Pioli's team.
According to what was reported by Italian journalist Antonio Vitiello of Milannews.it, the club is ready to renew Antonio Mirante's contract for another year. The 39-year-old former AS Roma goalkeeper is the third choice for the Rossoneri.
He made his debut with the team in the last match of this season against Verona at San Siro. He will continue to be part of the goalkeeping squad along with Mike Maignan and the newly acquired Marco Sportiello. The official announcement will be made in the coming days.
