After receiving UEFA's approval regarding compliance with Financial Fair Play obligations, AC Milan continues to make moves in the market to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
The negotiations of the Rossoneri club are progressing for three players who could arrive in Milan during this summer's transfer market window. As per Gianluca Di Marzio, the names are Mehdi Taremi from Porto, Arnaut Danjuma from Villarreal, and Tijjani Reijnders from AZ Alkmaar.
In particular, there are updates regarding Danjuma, a Dutch versatile left-winger born in 1997, who has been with Villarreal since 2021, with a loan spell at Tottenham in 2023. The transfer for the twenty-six-year-old can be done on loan.
Taremi and Danjuma are not alternatives to each other if one of them arrives on loan, also because Danjuma is more of an external player while Taremi is a pure center forward.
Arnaut Danjuma comes from a season played between Tottenham and Villarreal. With the Tottenham shirt, the 1997-born player made 12 appearances, mostly as a substitute: 9 in the Premier League, 2 in the FA Cup, and 1 in the Champions League. With the Spanish club, he played 17 times between La Liga, Conference League, and Copa del Rey competitions. He scored a total of 8 goals throughout the season, playing for both teams.
On the other hand, Taremi has been with Porto for some time, where he has also had significant playing time last season season. He played 51 matches during the season, scoring 31 goals and providing 14 assists. Reijnders, on the other hand, has even more minutes on the pitch: he scored 7 goals and provided 12 assists in 54 appearances with Alkmaar.
