AC Milan's centre-back, Fikayo Tomori, has spoken to Sky Sport about different topics, including the new season that is ahead:
"We are happy, excited. I'm excited for my third season, my position is that of a leader, someone who speaks a lot on and off the field. I've been here for three years, and I'm almost a veteran."
He added:
"I feel the responsibility, but like all my teammates, we want to win. Last year in January, we had 3-4 matches that changed the season. I hope we'll be good. We want to win; it's the team's first goal."
Tomori continued:
"It will be more challenging than previous years. We are trying to do something different, as the coach wants. We are proud to play for Milan, and we want to show it on the field. This year, we hope to have a memorable season."
On Paolo Maldini:
"When you think of Milan, you think of Maldini. When I arrived here, I saw him every day at Milanello. There is respect because I'm a defender, and I want to play at the highest level as much as possible. He gave me advice. When he's not around, there's a missing piece, and no one can replace him. The club has changed, but we are focused on the field, and we don't have this symbol of Maldini. But I know he will watch the matches. He's a symbol of Milan, but we have to move forward."

On Rafael Leao, he said:
"He is already very strong, but he can be even stronger. Years ago, when I arrived at Milan, I said there was a player different from everyone else, and that was Rafa. He has everything: shooting, assists, quality, power. He knows he has to be even more focused and attentive during warm-ups; I keep an eye on him. He is very important to us."
Tomori is now reunited with his old friends, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic...
"I would bet on Loftus-Cheek. He is my friend; I am his translator. I spoke to him before signing, and I am sure of his quality. Pulisic is strong, fast, and will score goals. He is different from the players we have at the moment. I'm happy for them and for us."
