AC Milan has chosen MSC Cruises as their new sleeve sponsor starting from the new season. The Rossoneri club has signed an agreement with the cruise company, marking their collaboration after a ten-year gap since their last partnership. MSC will replace BitMEX as the sponsor on AC Milan's playing jersey for the 2023/24 season.
According to what is reported by Calcio e Finanza, the agreement with MSC will be the most lucrative sleeve sponsorship in Italy. In fact, the value will be similar to the previous deal with BitMEX, around 5 million euros per season. (BitMEX and Milan have renewed their partnership, with the cryptocurrency company becoming the Premium Partner of the club, read here for details)These figures add to the two major agreements for the Rossoneri's jersey: the one with Emirates as the main sponsor and the one with Puma for the technical partnership, both worth about 30 million euros per season.
Altogether, these sponsorships amount to a total value of approximately 72 million euros per season, including the retrosponsor WeFox.
The official figures will be disclosed with the publication of the 2023/24 financial report and are part of a trend that has seen the contractual value of various brands on the jersey grow in recent years. Long-term agreements, like those with Puma and Emirates, have initially been established and are now expanding, in line with other revenue streams.
