The names in the minds of AC Milan's management for the last non-EU slot have been two for a while: Mehdi Taremi and Samuel Chukwueze. According to what is reported by the Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport in this morning's print edition, it seems that they have decided to focus more insistently on the former, but the problem lies with Porto.
The objective of the Rossoneri in the attack now is to sign the Iranian centre-forward, whose contract expires in 2024, for around 20 million euros, as they have done with their previous acquisitions. However, the Portuguese club continues to ask for 25 million euros.
If negotiations continue to drag on, they would then make a move for Samuel Chukwueze, with Arnaut Danjuma and Colombo alternating with Giroud in the attack.
