AC Milan will play their first Serie A game against Bologna on August 21. However, the management hasn't finished its work in the transfer market yet. There are still many things to do: some players will need to leave Milanello, while there could be other additions, specifically in some positions that haven't been touched much during this summer.
According to what is relayed by PianetaMilan.it, Clément Lenglet and Eric Garcia are no longer in the plans of Barcelona's head coach Xavi. The two defenders could leave to reduce the Blaugrana's wage bill. Both defenders have reportedly been proposed to Milan, which is currently waiting and deciding what to do.
The AC Milan club management could try to negotiate lower fees, given the financial situation that Barcelona are in. For each defender, the valuation would be around 15 million euros.
