Hellas Verona are looking for a reinforcement in their defensive line before the start of the new Serie A campaign. Among the players being watched by their management, there is the AC Milan central defender Mattia Caldara.
The 29-year-old player, formerly of Atalanta and Juventus, spent the last couple of seasons on loan from AC Milan, namely with Venezia and then with Spezia.
According to what is reported by Il Corriere dello Sport in this morning's print edition, it seems that the Rossoneri club directors are leaning more towards the idea of keeping Caldara as a 5th defender option. His contract is valid until June 2024.
