AC Milan have spent a significant amount of money during these summer weeks in order to reshape the squad that is made available to head coach Stefano Pioli. Now, the gaffer is focused on preparing for the first Serie A game as on Monday, August 21st at 8:45 PM, Milan will be on the stage at the Dall'Ara stadium for the match against Bologna.
The aim, of course, is to start in the best way possible, and that can only be done with a victory.
Pioli relies on the starting eleven from the pre-season with the new additions Loftus and Reijnders in midfield alongside Krunic, and Pulisic who will start on the right wing, with Chukwueze ready to come on during the game. The only real competition is between Kalulu and Calabria: the Rossoneri captain is recovered but still coming back from a muscular injury. Here's the probable lineup, as relayed by Milannews.it:
MILAN (4-3-3): Maignan; Kalulu, Thiaw, Tomori, Theo; Loftus-Cheek, Krunic, Reijnders: Pulisic, Giroud, Rafa Leao
