Arrigo Sacchi spoke to the microphones of SportMediaset about the upcoming Serie A campaign and the teams in the running to win, including Milan. These are Sacchi's words:
"Juventus, which has been beaten recently, is a team with quality and values and has a great advantage: it doesn't play in Cup matches, that's 10 more points. Inter is missing something. Milan has changed a lot, maybe even too much: not all foreigners come and deliver right away, usually it takes a bit of time, hopefully not too much. Lazio did a masterpiece last year and has a good coach, Roma has a very determined coach who knows how to communicate with people and could be a surprise. Anything could happen. We have to see about Napoli."
Sacchi on the 3 components of football:
"High team spirit, strong motivation, and gameplay. Gameplay doesn't cost anything, it's like the plot of a movie. Some teams lack gameplay, they need to compensate by getting very strong individuals, creating problems in the budget. If Napoli does these three things, they can repeat the Scudetto."
