Stefano Pioli was interviewed in the post-match of Bologna - AC Milan on Milan TV. Here are the coach's words after the victory.
Match analysis:
"The approach we wanted. We divided the game into four periods, the first one we did very well. We still have a lot to build, and Bologna played well."
The entry of the new players:
"It's going well, what we wanted to do during the summer we did. Today had to be a litmus test, the new guys arrived with enthusiasm, and they are ready-made players, not ones to be built. The attitude is the right one, we will become an important team if we learn to sacrifice without the ball."
Improvement on transitions, Pioli said:
"The secret is teamwork, sacrificing and making an extra run for your teammate. When you have players this strong, you can create a lot. We didn't suffer important counterattacks, but we need to do better in our transitions."
