As reported today by the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan's head coach Stefano Pioli wants to have a new centre-forward in the team. A player who is definitely open to make the move to the San Siro is Paris Saint-Germain's Hugo Ekitike. He wants to join the Rossoneri instead of Eintracht Frankfurt or West Ham.
The Italians, for their part, want to sign the player on loan with an option to buy and not an obligation. A costly loan could be the right way to convince the French club.
The agreement on the contract with the player is practically a done deal. The alternatives are the usual names mentioned in the media recently, though: Armando Broja and Luka Jovic. For the Albanian striker who is 21 years old, Chelsea are not willing to let their player leave on a loan deal. Therefore, a true plan B may very well be Luka Jovic who has been excluded by Fiorentina's boss Vincenzo Italiano. Other profiles in the radar of AC Milan are reportedly Mehdi Taremi and Romelu Lukaku.
