Olivier Giroud had a start to a new season which never happened to him throughout his career. The 2023/2024 campaign sees the Frenchman scoring 3 goals in 2 league games, it is an achievement which was never accomplished before by the former Chelsea star, until last weekend.
As pointed out by Corriere dello Sport in this morning's print edition, the Frenchman has scored in all of the last 5 Serie A matchdays. In his previous experiences, he had only succeeded once: in 2015 while wearing the Arsenal shirt.
Giroud has eight goals registered to his tally in the last five official matches with AC Milan: a pretty good haul for someone who will turn 37 next month.
