The transfer market window ends at 8:00 PM CET for AC Milan. The transfer of Mehdi Taremi has failed and now it seems that the Rossoneri are racing against time to try to land a new striker for coach Stefano Pioli.
According to what is reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia, the Rossoneri managers are working on two choices currently: Patson Daka from Leicester City, or Antonio Sanabria from Torino.
AC Milan are still making efforts to sign the Zambian effort from the English Championship outfit. In fact, contacts with the player have continued well into the past night. His contract with Leicester City runs until June 2026.
It remains to be seen, however, if AC Milan will be able to land Patson Daka on time. But, Milan also made an inquiry last night about Antonio Sanabria from Torino. Born in 1996 and hailing from Paraguay, Sanabria is under contract with Torino until June 30, 2025. He comes off a season with 12 goals and 4 assists in 36 matches in Serie A and the Coppa Italia. Currently, he is sidelined due to a muscle injury. According to Di Marzio, Torino might consider selling him only in conjunction with the loan of Divock Origi in the same deal.
