AC Milan parted ways with Angelo Carbone, who was the head of the youth sector department, earlier this summer. The name who was put forward to replace him was Vincenzo Vergine, who currently holds the same position at AS Roma.
A strong indication that Vergine is leaving the Giallorossi is that AS Roma's director Tiago Pinto has already chosen the new replacement: Mauro Leo, who was previously the right-hand man of the Portuguese executive.
As per Corriere dello Sport, Vincenzo Vergine is getting closer to joining AC Milan soon.
