AC Milan's Olivier Giroud is in a great form. He already has four goals in three league matches. For French national team Didier Deschamps, he is untouchable. At almost 37 years of age, he is still considered an important attacking asset for France and AC Milan too.
In a press conference, Dider Deschamps praised the qualities of the veteran striker and said these words:
"If he's still here, it's entirely his merit. He has the physique that helps him, his lifestyle, and his mentality. He has this desire to stay at the highest level. He did it last year and has started this season very well."
Deschamps continued to talk about Olivier Giroud:
"A few years ago, the limit was 35 years, and today there are many who are almost 40. Also, having fewer injuries is important; everything has improved, from preparation to medical care. But to be like him, you need the right mindset and mental strength. Olivier has it, and that's a great thing."
