According to a report shared by the Italy-based newspaper, La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition, the Rossoneri managers will initiate negotiations with the former Lille champion. However, perhaps it will take an important financial step from the club to appease the 28-year-old France international.
As per the source, Maignan would like to receive a salary between 8 to 10 million euros net per season, which would then make him the highest paid player in the club. His current contract runs until the summer of 2026.
