AC Milan is the club that was the most active in the summer's transfer window in Serie A. In terms of investments made, 113 million euros were spent in total, to which the bonuses could be earned, around 21 million euros, must be added.

Il Corriere dello Sport is focusing on the operations of the big Italian clubs in the just-concluded transfer window, and today it's the turn of the AC Milan management.
All purchases have come on a permanent basis, unlike in the past, with a maximum spending limit of 20 million euros. It should not be forgotten that Milan has often focused on players with one year left on their contract with their previous club, in order to have a better negotiating position. The salary budget shows 21.8 million euros coming in, but a -27.2 million euros going out due to the release from the heavy contracts of Divock Origi (4 million euros), Sergino Dest (3.8 million euros), and Ante Rebic (3.5 million euros). The savings in amortisation is about 9 million euros (while the new player cards cost 24.4 million).
The negative impact on the budget between salaries and amortisation will be only 5 million euros, but the 23/24 season will benefit from a 60 million capital gain from Tonali and less than 2.2 million euros in capital losses from Ante Rebic's exit.
According to the newspaper, Milan's summer campaign only confirms RedBird's Moneyball approach, which is to maximize the expected performance for every euro invested, using statistical methods and the study of available data.
