After choosing Manica for the construction of the new stadium in the San Francesco neighborhood in San Donato, the AC Milan club representatives met with Attilio Fontana, the president of the Lombardy Region, last week to discuss the changes that the Rossoneri have in mind.
During the meeting, as reported by Il Cittadino di Lodi, they discussed how Milan would like to structure the facility. It will be a stadium with two tiers, with a capacity of about 70,000 seats, and it will also house the Milan museum along with a variety of other attractions that are expected to draw visitors every day of the year, describes the newspaper.
The goal for Milan is to begin construction in 2025 and inaugurate the stadium in 2028.
