Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikayo Tomori, former teammates at Chelsea and now back together at AC Milan, spoke in a joint interview published on the Rossoneri's social media channels.
The two traveled to Los Angeles by car. Here are Fikayo's words about the city: "This is my city. I used to come here often with my family, some members are still here. I came with my friends. Everything here is different, the people, the climate, even the palm trees."
Ruben Loftus-Cheek on Milan: "The climate here is similar to Milan where it gets very hot. Training in Milan in the heat was one of the most challenging things I've ever done in my career. We'll be in shape."
Tomori on how they met: "I would get on the bus in Dartford and you (Ruben) at the next stop. The journeys lasted 45 minutes, but we talked and acted 'silly'. Time passed quickly. You asked me about Serie A when I joined Milan."
Ruben: "I couldn't say that there were contacts underway. When I told you I was coming to Milan, you didn't believe it."
Tomori: "Everyone asked me if you were coming, even Abraham. Then I told you that the training camp would start on July 10th."
Loftus-Cheek: "I'm improving with Italian. I'm taking lessons."
Tomori: "I'll give you until Christmas. We played together from Chelsea's youth teams, and now we're back together at Milan. Milan is amazing."
