Arianna Ravelli, a journalist from Il Corriere della Sera, expressed herself on Carlo Pellegatti's YouTube channel when talking about the interview with Gerry Cardinale, owner of AC Milan, which will be published tomorrow in the weekly magazine "7" by Corriere. She said the following:
"It was a great interview, Cardinale was very generous in sharing about himself and his vision. In fact, the vision is what strikes me the most. He's an owner that Italian football has never seen before; he's a novelty for us, even compared to other American owners. RedBird has a specificity and expertise in investing in sports, having started working with a regional TV."
Any similarities between Gerry Cardinale and the late Silvio Berlusconi?
"Well... He noticed them too. It's one of the most amusing parts of the interview. He speaks very highly of Berlusconi. He was also very knowledgeable about the history of Milan."
What kind of person is he?
"He's very approachable, very very humble, and that's not so common. He's also very American: things get done. Need to do a photo shoot? He changes twice, he gets ready, and by the way, it was raining at Milanello... I found the man behind the Scudetto photo in Piazza Duomo. He's passionate, not emotional."

What impressed you the most about Gerry Cardinale:
"To win, he's convinced that you have to embrace change. Those who don't change, who rest on their laurels, will be surpassed by the competition. He aims to change not only Milan but also Italian football. He's a hard worker: he's studied everything about us, both Milan and Italian football. He didn't remind me of any previous owners; he reminds me a bit of those from Liberty Media, the owners of Formula 1. He also talked about Italian football; I expect some controversial reactions tomorrow..."
