AC Milan's head coach, Stefano Pioli, has now a different idea when it comes to rotating his squad. Instead of replacing almost all players, he intends to make only a few changes in some positions.
Against Hellas Verona, there is the opportunity to rest three key players, besides the goalkeeper, Mike Maignan, who is out due to injury and replaced by Sportiello.

The 5 matches in 14 days will be an important test for the resilience of the Rossoneri squad: Hellas Verona, Cagliari, Lazio, Borussia Dortmund, and Genoa. Then there will be the break, the usual departures for the national teams, but also rest for those who will stay at Milanello.
According to what is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, apart from Marco Sportiello, the defence should be composed of three usual starters out of four: Davide Calabria, Malick Thiaw, and Fikayo Tomori. Theo Hernandez will get the chance to rest and he will be replaced by Alessandro Florenzi.
As for the midfield department, it seems that Yunus Musah is set to start his first game and he will be taking Ruben Loftus-Cheek's place. Next to him, there will be Rade Krunic and Tijjani Reijnders.
In the attack, however, Rafael Leao will start the match and we will see Christian Pulisic on the right, while there is uncertainty in the center of the attack: a chance for Noah Okafor is possible. But, as per the newspaper, it is not ruled out that Olivier Giroud starts again.
