AC Milan have secured an important win 1-0 against Hellas Verona at the San Siro. The only goal in the game was scored at around the 8th minute of the first half by Rafael Leao.
Alessandro Florenzi who was the starting left-back today has spoken to DAZN after the end of the match and said these words:
"A victory after the criticisms? Critics are part of the game, we simply have to not listen to them and move forward on our own path and with our own ideas. We played a good match and achieved our goal. Let's move forward, there are still many matches before the break."
How did you feel?
"Just like the whole team, I feel like part of an important group. Part of a group that should not be giving up even if we don't play two or three matches: we stay on the bench and support the team. I think this is the real key to moving forward in life and in football."
It's Rafael Leao who wore the captain's armband today... Florenzi said:
"I think it did him good. We hope the captain and vice-captain can return soon, we all serve here. But today Rafa played one of his matches. He's a smart guy, he knows when he makes a mistake."
The challenges of the schedule:
"There are many matches, we have to be ready for anything. We have to be a team."
Florenzi, what did you say to Bartesaghi?
"He's a strong player. Surely he must have been excited, he didn't come in like in some debuts where you might enter when it's 4 or 5-0, but he came into a tight match, a real match. He has great qualities, he did well. I give him my congratulations."
Congratulations to 17-year-old Davide Bartesaghi on his debut with the Rossoneri today
