Olivier Giroud, the AC Milan forward, expressed himself to Sky Sport Italia before the Rossoneri's away from home Serie A fixture against Cagliari:
"The coach told me that today I would rest. I am very happy to be here with the team to help my teammates, motivate them, and be there to support them. We play a lot. The most important thing is to have consistency in the results: we need to aim for the three points."
More important, the league or the Champions League?
"Both. The first year we had a great season in the league, the second a great Champions League, this year we want to do both. The goal is to advance from the group stage in the Champions League and stay in close contact with Inter in the league. We want to do well in both competitions and we have the quality to do it. We are competitive."
