AC Milan highly value their star goalkeeper Mike Maignan. The former PSG and Lille player who has become the number one shotstopper for Didier Deschamps in the France national team is liked by different clubs, including ones in Saudi Arabia, according to Corriere della Sera (relayed by Milan Live).

Several executives from different clubs in Saudi Arabia are studying the idea of investing important fees to sign AC Milan's star. A substantial offer is said to be in the works for Maignan, both in terms of his transfer fee and his contract, aligning with the prestigious salaries already offered to players who have joined the Saudi Pro League. It's not unlikely that a genuine pursuit of the '95 class player, who has been with Milan since 2021, might materialise already in January.
AC Milan, for their part, want to keep their player and are trying to protect their interests by accelerating the renewal talks. Maignan's current deal expires in June 2026 and earns just 2.8 million euros net per season. It's certain that a club from Saudi Arabia would be prepared to quadruple such a salary. Eventually, a lot will depend on Mike Maignan's decision who seems to be happy and comfortable with the Rossoneri.
