AC Milan has thoroughly archived and overcome the heavy defeat in the derby, securing three consecutive victories against Verona, Cagliari, and Lazio. The Rossoneri definitely needed a sign to lift themselves up, and Rafa Leao showcased his greatest quality, his dribbling acceleration. First with Verona, now with Lazio, providing two perfect assists for Pulisic and Okafor.

Rafael Leao's impact continues...

Three assists and three goals in seven matches: Leao started strong, confirming himself as Milan's key player. It's true, there's also Okafor from the bench and Pulisic who has quality and can find the net, but as emphasized by Tuttosport, when the Portuguese player is on form, he's unstoppable.

Leao's only Achilles' heel remains consistency within the full 90 minutes, a aspect that has nonetheless improved in recent seasons.

Double assist

Benefiting from Leao's two assists last night were first Pulisic and then Okafor. Even in the victory against Lazio, the Portuguese player left his mark without finding the net himself.

The quality of Milan's wingers is undeniable, making it difficult for defenses to contain and shut down two wingers as similar yet different as Leao and Pulisic.
