AC Milan's head coach, Stefano Pioli, answered the questions of journalists in a post-match press conference. Here are his words after the 0-0 draw against Borussia Dortmund:
"In the first half, we didn't play an excellent game, we suffered more. In the second half, it was better, with more quality and compactness, not being able to score is very disappointing. Zero goals in two Champions League matches is our biggest mistake, we need to be more clinical."
On the group:
"Football is unpredictable. All in all, we put Newcastle under pressure and tonight they score 4 goals against PSG. Every match has its own story. It won't be the last surprise in the group, which will remain very balanced until the last day."
Okafor only in the second half...
"Giroud had his chance, he did an excellent job for the team. In the first half, anyone playing up front would have struggled. In the second half, we wanted to win, spaces opened up. We weren't able to capitalize on the chances."
Many chances, few goals... Pioli said:
"Many things we do are positive, but we haven't been concrete and clinical. I want to build on the many positive things we are doing."
On not conceding goals in the two Champions League matches this season, Pioli says:
"I am satisfied with the team's performance, they never gave up, being solid and attentive is good, the performance of the two central defenders was of a very high level. The boys were disappointed in the locker room because we wanted to win".
