The former AC Milan player, currently at Juventus, Manuel Locatelli, has spoken to La Stampa in an interview. Like Chiesa, he also mentioned how he doesn't like the fact that the Champions League spot was "taken" from them.
Here are his statements:
"A season without European cups can give more, but also take away. Now we can't make any more mistakes in the league. Now, the ambition is to return to the Champions League, a competition that belongs to us. Last year we had reached the goal, amid a thousand difficulties. If then in the spring we can do something more, we will do it. It's a shame and it's annoying because it has been taken away from us, but we have to find the motivation within ourselves."
Chiesa aims dig at Milan: “They’re only in the Champions League because it was taken away from us”
