Even before returning to Milan from their Champions League trip to Dortmund, the Milan team is back in action: tomorrow evening, the Rossoneri will be playing on the tricky field of Genoa, and since it will be less than 72 hours since the match against Borussia Dortmund, it is inevitable that Stefano Pioli will make some changes to his team, but he will not completely overhaul it.
As reported by Tuttosport, there will be at least three changes compared to the Champions League clash. In defence, Alessandro Florenzi will start at right-back instead of Davide Calabria, who was not at his best in Dortmund.
Alongside the former Roma player, Thiaw, Tomori and Theo are confirmed in the starting lineup. The former Real Madri talent, though, could miss the next league game against Juventus if he receives one more yellow cad.
In midfield, Yacine Adli will return to the starting lineup after coming on well in the second half in Dortmund. Pobega will make way for him. Reijnders will play as the left midfielder, and Musah will play as the right midfielder.
Finally, the only player who is sure to start is Rafael Leao. Okafor is in contention for a starting spot as the first striker instead of the ageing Giroud, while there is a close battle between Pulisic and Chukwueze on the right wing, with the Nigerian eager to redeem himself after his missed chance in Dortmund.
