AC Milan President Paolo Scaroni spoke to Sky Sport about the club, its current state, and its goals. Here are his statements:
On Giroud as goalkeeper:
"It was a fantastic thing, I must say. He really saved shots. In my opinion, it was a demonstration of a team spirit that I liked very much. When you create that spirit, anything is possible."
On the club's goals:
"I have in mind that Milan must always be in the Champions League. That's it, I have no other goals. You ask me: do you like winning the Scudetto? Yes, very much. But it is not our number one goal. We are a global club, we must be in the Champions League because we want our fans around the world to see us. That's how I think. From this point of view, being first is a step in that direction. Then I have to say that other matches like the one on Saturday put my coronary arteries at risk, but otherwise we have played some good matches in this period."
On the derby, Scaroni said:
"There is the return match, there will be Milan-Inter and I will go because it is not an away match. I didn't go to Inter-Milan because it was an away match, but I will go to Milan-Inter and I am sure we will do very well."
