The international break is here and AC Milan reached it while first in the Serie A league table.
This break will also serve Stefano Pioli to recover three injured players, namely Pierre Kalulu, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Rade Krunic.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition, all three players mentioned above are expected to be available for team selection just in time for the match on October 22 against Juventus.
These are three very important returns for the Milan team because it will allow Pioli to rotate players: after the major showdown at San Siro against Juventus, the Rossoneri will face two very challenging away matches against PSG in the Champions League and Napoli in Serie A.
It is unthinkable for the same players to play every game, so the Milan coach will have to rotate his players and manage his squad well. That's wghy it is crucial to have everyone available.
Kalulu has been out for several weeks (he got injured during the September international break) and his return is very important for defensive rotations since he can play both as a center-back and a full-back. The returns of Krunic and Loftus-Cheek will allow Pioli to have more flexible choices in midfield, unlike in recent weeks when there were only four players available (Tijjani Reijnders, Yacine Adli, Tommaso Pobega, and Yunus Musah).
